The newest Taser for personal protection is called the Pulse.  It is an awesome device for protection.  It looks just like a gun.  It shoots darts our 15 feet so you have ample space between you and the attacker.  It has a backup stun gun just in case you need it.  The laser beam warns the attacker (and sometimes keeps them from coming closer)
